Western Door Steakhouse – inside the Seneca Niagara Casino
310 4th Street, Niagara Falls NY 14031 (http://www.senecaniagaracasino.com/dining-western-door.cfm)
This top-notch steakhouse is set over top the gaming floor at the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls USA. They offer the freshest seafood, steaks, and chops. Meticulously prepared entrees include Rack of Lamb, Sea Bass, Veal Oscar, Wild Salmon, crab Legs, Filet Mignon, Strip Steak, and prime Rib. If you really want to splurge, try the Kobe Strip Steak for $75. The meats are the finest cuts available (REAL Waygu/Kobe Beef). The sides, soups, and breads are also incredible. You will receive a basket that has many types of breads in it, including pretzel bread, and also a variety of spreads. The bartender was extremely experienced and knowledgeable. Lemon Martini and cosmopolitans were perfect, although could have been shaken a bit longer to be colder. My strip steak was cooked absolutely exactly as I like it. The asparagus was a bit bland, with hardly any seasoning, I probably would not order it again here. It comes with a red pepper laying across the top of it, I guess for decoration? The wine list is very extensive, prices marked up very high, but good selections. They do allow you to bring in your own wine for a corking fee. They offer a smoking section – although it seemed like EVERY section was smoking. This could bother some people that don’t care to breathe in smoke during their dinner. Pictured above is the Iceberg wedge salad – which had marinated red onion and maytag blue cheese dressing. Also, the fresh asparagus and 14 oz NY Strip Steak. We were here for a special occasion, which this restaurant has ALWAYS given our party some sort of special-occasion dessert on the house. Service is outstanding every single time as well. You cannot go wrong with this opulent 5 star rated steakhouse. When your done with dinner, go gamble some of your money away like I do every time.
